The Art Collector’s Cookbook
a community for art lovers, food lovers, and anyone craving the nostalgia of waiting for something in the mail.
Monthly mail clubs are taking the creative community by storm. It’s a way for artists to share their work and a tiny part of their heart in the compact vessel of an envelope, delivered directly to your door.
I’ve thought a lot about the kind of work I want to make, and as much as I love illustrating, the creative process of cooking and the joy of sharing meals with people have been just as fulfilling.
A childhood of religiously watching Food Network and excellent South Indian meals courtesy of my mom have made me a voracious eater. But during the pandemic I started really experimenting with my own home-cooking, exploring new flavor combinations and ingredients, and relishing in arranging beautiful plates (find me on Instagram as @live.to.eat.kitchen).
And in an effort to combine all the things that feed my soul, I wanted to launch my very own monthly snail mail club!
Think of it as a little piece of my studio and kitchen mailed to you. If you love collecting art, cooking new recipes, or simply receiving thoughtful mail, then please join me in this part of my creative practice <3
Once subscribed, a little envelope from my studio and kitchen will arrive in your mailbox each month. Inside you’ll find an art print of an illustrated seasonal dish I’ve created, the recipe card so you can make it yourself, a custom die-cut sticker or magnet, and a short letter with my musings on art, cooking, and life!
Sign up by May 25th for June’s mail. Sign ups after May 25th will start by receiving July’s mail.
Billing
Renews automatically—you can cancel your subscription at any time via your account or purchase confirmation email, just be sure to do so before your next billing cycle!
Shipping
Shipping cost is included for US orders. To keep costs low I’ll be using standard domestic letter shipping via USPS. This means mail can’t be tracked. Enjoy the sweet anticipation of receiving something fun in the mail!
International orders will require $2 shipping. If you live outside the US, please check if USPS will be able to send mail to your country and then select the international option.
Each month’s design is sent out during the second week of the corresponding month. For example, June's design is promoted through May 25th and sent out at the beginning of June.
