I recently visited Okonomi, a beloved Japanese spot in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. There I had the most delectable breakfast plate with a variety of balanced and perfectly seasoned dishes. From the ceramics to the vibrant pickled veggies, I simply had to paint this meal and I’m incredibly proud of the results.

I’m hoping to illustrate other breakfast spreads from more of my favorite cuisines!
